Galen Casida from Adamson University.

  • Home: Mindanao
  • Height: 7ft
  • Age: 19
  • Play: Power Forward

  • 3s:
  • 2s:
  • Dribbling – poor
  • Passing – Poor
  • Posting – Poor
  • Athleticism: Some claimed he has gigantism problems and movement is too slow.

Galen Casida might not be ready for the 2023 world cup but he is definitely working for his dream and that became a professional PBA player.

This young man is playing rookie on UAAp but we know he has movements as a big men

Here is the list of the potential player for Gilas

Jay Pangalanan 6’10” – a huge center formerly at DLSU (wasted 2 years), then move to St. Benilde and wasted another 1 yr. Now he will be playing at Letran. He is improving post player. He moves like Greg zilla. But his body is so big that he got injured most of the college time.  Because of his size, his jump is too low.

Sage Tolentino, 7′ is in USA under TSF now. He is doing a practice with Kai. SBP have not announced if he will be playing for Philippines but based on his association with KAI, he will become one of the bigmen.
In his latest training, i find his jump to low and no power.

Kai Sotto, 7’2″ – formerly Ateneo HS player, TSF player and now USA D-League.
AJ Edu, 6’10” – He will be playing this season at US NCAA after sitting for 1 year due to injury.
Ethan Kirkness, 6’10” He will be playing at the University of the Philippines. He is not ready. He has shown poor dribbling and poor movement. However, he is definitely a good defender.
Geo Chui – Already played in WC and averaging 2pts per game. A subtitute player but capable of scoring and good defense. Currently practicing in USA

Ladis Lepalam, 6’8″
Arman Demigaya, 6’8″

Erlan Umpad – 6’8″ playing at LPU
Tzaddy Rangel, 6’7″
Kemark Cariño, 6’7″

Kevin Quiambao, 6’7″ has display ace game as he plays in NU  high school team. He has shown 3s, 2s, a strong drive to the ring, slam-dunking, and what I love in him is his ability to pass. He is probably in his last season and will play in NU bulldog high school team in the future.
