The Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) regulates all CNA training programs throughout the state. When you’ve completed the requirements, ADPH will add to the registry list that will qualify you to work in long-term care facilities located in Alabama. CNA courses are offered at community colleges, nursing homes, and technical schools. A whole course will take a minimum 75 hours of classroom and clinical training.
