GBF TeachSTEM Master’s Degree Scholarship Program Online Application for AY 2021-2022
The GBF TeachSTEM Master’s Degree Scholarship aims to advance STEM education in the Philippines by taking part in building a pool of experts who are envisioned to lead in generating new knowledge in the field, providing best training for future quality STEM professionals, and championing STEM-oriented culture in basic education. The scholarship supports K-12 teachers and college instructors teaching a STEM-related course who are part-time graduate students taking master’s degree in Education specializing in STEM.
In partnership with selected centers of excellence, the TeachSTEM Scholarship Program aims to develop and strengthen quality STEM educators who will equip future learners to later contribute to nation-building.
Upon completion of the program in the partner Teacher Education Institution, the Scholar is expected to show competencies of beginning teachers for college degree/highly proficient teachers for master’s degree, and confidently able to:
•Deliver quality STEM education using approaches and methods that are appropriate, relevant and respectful to a diverse profile of learners to empower them to contribute to nation-building
• Adapt efficiently to the challenges of the changing educational landscape while actively pursuing opportunities for personal growth and professional development
• Collaborate with stakeholders in the education ecosystem who can support quality learning
