SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, AND MATHEMATICS EXPOSITION 2026

The Philippine Society of Youth Science Clubs (PSYSC) Inc. will conduct the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Exposition (STEM Expo) 2026 in Metro Manila on May 9–10, 2026.

 

 

STEM Expo 2026 is a two-day event featuring a series of competitions, exhibits, and conferences that highlight innovative ideas, groundbreaking advancements, and the talent of the Filipino youth in the fields of STEM. It promotes the excellence and ingenuity of Filipino youth through various competitions for Grades 10–12 learners, such as:

  • Ideas Generation (iGen): Ideathon – a hackathon to brainstorm and design technological solutions to real-world problems;
  • iGen: Innovation – a competition that spotlights market-ready, innovative products addressing 21st-century challenges;
  • STEMposium – an open conference to share ideas and exchange knowledge on science research and technological innovations;
  • PSYSC ResearchCon – a research fair and competition that highlights studies in four categories: physical science, applied science, life science, and mathematics;
  • PSYSC Science Journalism Contest – a competition that aims to sharpen critical thinking through its sub-events: Editorial Writing, Editorial Cartooning, News Writing, and Feature Writing; and
  • PSYSC Science Film Festival – a nationwide amateur filmmaking competition and film festival that promotes public understanding of science, technology, and the environment.

High school and undergraduate students, teachers, and all others interested in watching and experiencing the event are invited to take part in developing young minds and encourage contributions to society through collaboration and innovation.

Participation of learners and teachers from public and private schools shall be purely voluntary and will not hamper instructional time in compliance with the provisions of DepEd Order (DO) No. 012, s. 2025, titled Multi-Year Implementing Guidelines on the School Calendar and Activities and DO 9, s. 2005 titled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith and the policy on off-campus activities stated in DO 66, s. 2017.
