PROJECT C++: ChEck MARKS THE SPOT
DepEd Advisory No. 263, s. 2014
The University of the Philippines Chemical Engineering Society (UP KEM), Inc. will
conduct its Project C++: ChEck Marks the Spot. It is a cluster of four events unified to further
promote Chemical Engineering as a career path to secondary students and ignite
appreciation to Chemical Engineering-related disciplines.
ChEmaraderie – This is a Science Camp.
June to July 2014 – (School Laboratories)
To instill new knowledge into the minds of the students by giving them a lecture course on Chemistry and as Physics as part of the basic foundations of Chemical Engineering as well as by conducting experiments related to these fields
CAReS – This is an intensive entrance examination review.
June 28, July 5,12,19and 26, 2014 (Public schools nationwide)
To help the students prepare for the University of the Philippines College Admission Test (UPCAT)
ChEcklist This is an introduction to Chemical Engineering.
October 2014 to January 2015 (Science High Schools)
To introduce Chemical Engineering both as a potential degree program and as a profession by a series of talks
and fun activities
ChEckmate This is an interschool quiz bee.
